Central Valley Health District is the public health department in Stutsman County and is governed by a board of health appointed by the county commissioners. The mission of the Central Valley Health District is the promotion of optimal community health.
Programs include: Nursing, Environmental Health, Family Planning, WIC, Women’s Way, Tobacco Prevention, Emergency Preparedness and Response, HIV/STD testing, Immunizations, Car Seat and Safety, OPOP (Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program), School Health, and The Sexual Assault Response Team.
