LoadPass Permits

Stutsman County uses LoadPass Permits to issue all overweight and oversized truck permits. The system covers everything from submission to County approval and payments. LoadPass Permits’ website can be accessed at https://www.loadpasspermits.com/. For questions regarding the permitting process please call LoadPass Permits at (701) 566-5576 or permits@loadpasspermits.com.

The LoadPass Permit Program was founded in 1984 by the Western Dakota Energy Association, formerly the ND Association of Oil & Gas Producing Counties and Coal Conversion Counties, a group of counties in western North Dakota involved in the energy industry. The system was started to give the counties some tools to help control the heavy loads traveling over their local roadways, and to give the industry one place to obtain permission for traveling overweight or over-dimension on the participating county, township and city roads.
