Bail Payment Options

These options are available for bail purposes only.

All cash and credit card deposits for bail purposes will be forwarded to the court that set the bail amount. Courts consider all bail funds to be the property of the defendant once bail is posted. Any bail refunds will be returned to the defendant and not the person paying the bail.

Cash

Bail can be posted with cash 24 hours a day, using a kiosk in the 1st floor lobby. After depositing bail money, you must notify staff by pressing the call button next to the 2nd floor door or call the Correctional Center at (701) 252-7436 Ext 6106.

Bail Bonds

The court may allow certain offenses to be eligible to use a bail bonding agency to post bail. This is typically determined at the initial court appearance. Facility staff can advise you if an offense is bail bond eligible by calling (701) 252-7436 Ext 6106.

Bail bond companies are privately owned, and you will need to contact them directly to inquire about services and associated costs. The SCCC does not advertise for, nor recommend any company.

Credit/Debit Cards

Bail can be posted using a credit/debit card 24 hours per day, using a kiosk in the 1st floor lobby, calling District Court during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), or by going to https://team3.inmatecanteen.com. It is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions set forth by Turnkey and/or District Court if you should choose to use this service.
